18/03/05 - GYKD Search v2.1
GYKD Search has been updated to version 2.1 to match the rest of the site. If you wish to make a search the page can be found at:
http://www.gykd.co.za/search.html
Alternatively there should be a search bar in the corner of your screen. This bar can be hiden away by clicking on the >> link and retrieved by clicking on the << link.
If you cannot see this search bar then it may because your browser does not support this feature of css (many versions of IE don't support this feature, I can recomend firefox
).
More features are gradually being added to the search feature to make it more efficient and to incorperate external results. For the mean while the search feature should be at least as useful as the old system

01/03/05 - Happy Birthday GYKD.
Happy Birthday GYKD.
GYKD was officially published on the 2nd March 2004 and in the last year has attracted 100 members who have posted 3600 messages.
GYKD would like to thank all it's members for it's contributions to help get GYKD to where it is now.
With that aside we would also like to officially release GYKD v2.1 (bugs and all). The updated style has been created to give a more professional feel to the site and to provide a simple layout to access it's acumalative motorcycle based knowledge.
Please bare with the site whiles the remaining features are updated.

The site is currently undergoing major changes to the front-end of the site. This means changes to the style and layout of the site but not the content. I would appreciate feedback about the pages completed so far. A thread has been opened for just that purpose and can be found below

Sorry about the site being down again!
It seems that people with telkom adsl have had problems with the site the past few days.
Routers have been fixed and you shouldn't have problems anymore!

02/01/04 - Release Date
Release date for this site is set to be the 31st of January 2004!
By then I hope to have completed the reviews and classifieds section and move the site to GYKD.co.za.
With university now just round the corner it has made me realise how much time I have to get this site up and running. Hopefully I can meet this deadline without cutting too many corners, but we'll see.
Thanks to people that have helped test the different areas of the site and have helped me fix many bugs already, much apreciated!!
