26/11/03 - Construction update
Progress of the website has been slowed down a little. I decided that before I went any further that the site needed to be neatened up a little. So I've spent a few weeks now improving the code behind the site (and also fixing bugs).
I've also been working on a site for a friend. So all in all it may be a few more weeks before real progress is made again
But at least the site should be a lot more efficient and tidier

17/11/03 - New bike!
Finally got my new bike! It's a '91 Suzuki GSF400 Bandit. Pics of it in my <A HREF="http://localhost/gykd/home/gallery/gallery.html?whichgallery=2" TARGET="_blank">user gallery</A>
Very happy with the bike, just needs a new battery and insurence!

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. have today announced the completion of a two year contract with MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi. Despite comments from Rossi at the press conference to announce his departure from Honda last week that he could not confirm his destination until after the 31st December, Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, has officially confirmed that the Italian will be incorporated into the factory squad from the 1st January and will make his debut on the YZR-M1 at the first round of the new season on the 18th April.<B>"</B>

02/11/03 - Forums
Well the forums are up and running! All seem to be working fine, although initially it introduced a whole load of new bugs to the log in / log out pages 
As the sites starting to get more complete I've started looking for a host and I must buy a domain soon!
As for buying a bike, had a quick look in cape ads but nothing jumped out. Will have to wait until next thursday for a new issue
Arg, I'm missing having a bike!

26/10/03 - More Updates...
I have now, mostly, finished the whole of the home section, although there are pleanty of bugs to iron out still. Next week I'll have to get started on the forum or something.
As well as the website I also spent half of the week doing some propper work. The pay aint very good but it is at least work.
It seems it's all happening at the same time as I should soon have enough money to buy a bike. So maybe by next week I'll have one!

19/10/03 - Construction update
The website is comming along now! I have finished the user accounts/cookies/so on and made it work with the this news section. I also added the members and poll sections. All working fine, but maybe need some refining.
Over the next week I plan to get the gallery, video, link and contact sections working, however I am finally starting some sort of a job so it may take longer.
Anyway I'll update again next week

These last few days I have been giving the website a make-over. It now has features such as this news system. I have been playing with php and this is the first real fruits of my efforts.
So it looks like the website will have php splashed all over the place when I'm finished (which should be cool).
Anyway I must get on with testing this system before it all starts to fall apart around me!

25/09/03 - Work Resumes
Well a lot has happened since I last posted! Exams are finished and we ended up moving back to the homeland (South Africa). The result of this is that I lost some of the work that I did on this website, so a bit of tweaking is required.
It also means that I no longer have a bike, so as soon as a find myself a job the hunt for a new bike begins. So at the minute I have pleanty of time to work on the site (so maybe some progress will be madeover the following weeks ).

18/05/03 - BMF
As I actually have some money for a change, I thaught what would be better than to go and spend it. The bmf has something like 900 stalls (arai,cowtree,etc). Everyone always tells me they have kit for a fraction of the price, so off I go.
